I must say I feel a bit lost today. I had a pretty deep/serious (?) conversation with a friend last nite and it made me think a lot. About everything and nothing. How unexpected life actually is. I'm very very glad we finally spoke! Because I'm used to talk to my friends about everything.. small things, big things.. whatever it is about. So yeah, I guess I'm just a bit confused, which I think all of us have been more than once..

Pain in the ass walk
Oh god. Oh god. Oh god. I just came back from a pain in the ass power walk! We (me and Karin) wanted to walk like for 1 hr and try a new way. So we started walking.. and we walked, and we walked, and we waaaaalked. Gosh. We seriously walked to nowhere, just uphill, up in the mountains (not really but almost). Interesting - at least we took a new way and saw some new parts of the city. But we walked for more than 1,5 hrs so now I'm seriously dead. Good nite and sweet dreams everyone!! pusspuss

I'm back after the job meeting, which went very well! Actually I'm not so tired as I thought I would be.. just happy because the weather is sunny and pretty warm. BUT, it's soooo windy today!! Ghaa.. I haven't been sleeping this bad like I did last nite in ages!! My roomies came home around 4.30 am and were anything else than quite! So since then until my alarm went off, I've been rolling around trying to sleep.. I do hope they had a very good nite out with friends! Now I'm a bit stressed because I have a job meeting soon. I have chocolate cravings!!!! I don't know what to do.. I've already had some pieces but I wanna have more and more and more................... I'm forcing myself not buying more from the little store next to us and which is open like 24/7. Gosh. I hate this. Any suggestion of how to get this cravings go away (without eating chocolate)??

Things don't always go as planned. Especially not when u're pressing snooz for an hr and then turning off the alarm.. I ended up waking up 3 hrs later than planned. Oh well. I feel very glad today anyways! The birds are singing, which means that the spring is here to stay.. and sooner or later the summer will be here aswell.

It keeps surprising me..
Barca is really nothing similar to any other ciy! It keeps on surprising me over and over again, every single day.. So I just have to tell u about when I was on my way home last nite. I passed a gang of guys when I suddenly heard one of them telling the rest "Look, this girl is both beautiful and fashion!" and everyone was stirring at me. lol. I couldn't anything else than start laughing for myself, but at the same time I got so embarrassed.. I always get that for things like this. So I passed them by just looking down in the ground, laughing for myself.

Because when I almost was home, a car with 4 guys was passing me.. pretty slowly. I was so in my own thoughts so I didn't really see them until I heard them screaming their phone number to me and then saying "please call us beautiful girl!" and then screaming their number once again just to make sure I would remember it! haha. I was like wtf!! Who do they think I am.. But I guess I can't do anything else than laugh for myself. hihi.
I wonder what the guys would have said if they've seen me like this instead..

Am I the only one that really hates when u have to turn the clock forward..??! It's ok the other way: when u gain one hour. But I hate waking up feeling that one hour is just hux flux gone! Stressed? Hm.. yeah I might be.

I know that some u might think it's pretty late to go out now (in Sweden u would thinking of going home or to an afterparty soon).. but thats how we do it here! Beautiful, beautiful day! I'm very happy that I didn't sleep the whole day after a great last nite! But u who did sleep a bit longer than I did today, I just have to let u know that the weather was wonderful today ;) Me and Karin took a long nice walk in Gracia and we actually just got home. My friend Christoffer always calls me "Pigge". "Dear child has many names" (not sure if u can say it in English.. at least u can in Swedish!) I know he calls me this just for fun.. but then one day he sent me a pic of a pig and said "this is u Pigge!" So not only that he calls me "Pigge", he also thinks I look like a little pig! Well, the pig is very cute.. but hm.. I don't think we're very alike. hihi. U think so?

WHOOP WHOOP!!
I got a yoga DVD from my mum last week and I've done the exercises twice now. I'm pretty cumbersome since I've got short muscles (I guess it's because I'm not stretching enough..), but after just done yoga twice in a couple of days, I already feel much more relaxed! I've done yoga before but it was a pretty long time ago.. Since my muscles are a little tence and I'm stressing too much at the moment I thought I should give this DVD a chance; which I don't regret at all. The DVD is 50 min long, and it's a very relaxed and nice start of the day. My head feels much more clear, I feel already less stressed and are much more relaxed!

Never tried yoga?

Have you never tried yoga I would really suggest u to try! U'll feel stiff and clumsy in the beginning but u'll be surprised how fast u'll feel a difference: how relaxed and calm u'll feel. Even though I've done "power yoga" before, I'm doing "yoga for beginners" now. "Power yoga" is more complicated, has different positions and feels more like u're exercising while "yoga for beginners" is more stretching. But there's many different kinds of yoga, so just try whats best for u and I'm sure u're gonna enjoy it!
Only one position
I've been complaining a bit over my bed, because it's not the most confy one.. but even though I miss the best bed in the world that I've in Sweden.. I realized that I should be more than happy to have the bed I've here and now in Barca. I mean, imagine to have the bed below!! Ouch.

Airport - my second home
It feels like Barcelona's airport is my second home these days.. I've been there 6 times within 2 weeks! I havent been travelling myself, just been picking up and dropped off people. The funny thing is that it has been the same musicians playing on the train to the airport each time. 1 girl and 2 guys are playing and singing, and before the next stop they're selling their cd:s "One for 6, two for 10" are they sing-talking in a choir. Gosh. I wonder how much money they actually are making during one day? I've just seen a few people giving them a coin or two, but never seen anyone buying their cd:s. But who knows, one day they might be famous.. :)

Stirring lady
I almost forgot to tell u about a lady I saw in the metro today. She must have been very dissatisfied with her life, because she looked so angry in a weird way. She was pretty good looking, well dressed but her angry face made her look like an old, mad crazy lady who's not been satisfied with her life so far! She was stirring at a girl who was dressed in some black & white tights, had black shorts over the tights, sneakers, a jumper and had dreads on one side of her head while the other side was shaved. Not my style, but everyone should be free to look and dress as they like without any angry lady stirring and judging!! Grr... i just felt like stirring back at the lady. Which I did after a while. When she saw my burning eyes she stopped stirring and looked out of the window instead.

I just got back home after a meeting at SHOKO (a club down the beach here in Barca) about the preparations for "The Scandinavian Fashion Nights" - event that I'm helping to promote. The event is this Thursday (the 25th) and I'm sure it's gonna be an awesome, unforgettable nite!! Everyone that says "elle" in the door will get free entrance and all girls have chance to get shoes, bags and jewellery from "Friis & co" for free. I've seen all of the stuff and trust me, it's so nice things!! Would love to get it all myself ;)

Last nite I had to make one of the hardest decisions I've ever needed to make so far.. I said no to a very good job that I've been offered. Some might think I'm totally stupid! Fine, I might be since I most of the time listen more to my heart than to my head. And yeah, I might regret it a bit later on.. but still, at this point, it wasnt the right decision for me to say yes. I wanna give everything I can, in everything I do.. so why do smth I'm not 100% sure about? I wouldnt feel very happy. My performance wouldnt be very good at all.. the job wouldnt think I was doing a good job, and neither would I be proud of myself = FAILURE!

Yeah, we did conquer Barca last nite!! but we also got in a cab with a crazy taxi driver who was willing to do anything to get his 50 cents that was missing!! Horrible.. Presents & strawberries
Karin and I were gone for hours earlier.. we had a long walk in the lovely spring weather, and then we were looking for presents for Malin's little boy, Keanu. His 1st bday is tomorrow, yaaay! He's so cute!! After what felt like hours, we both found a very cute present each for him. I can't tell u what it is here.. but trust me they both are very cute! We got so exhausted trying to find presents, so we had a little snack break. I found strawberries!! Yuuuummm! In Sweden you wouldn't find strawberries at this time the year.. or u might could, but they would def not taste as good as this little berries :)

We had an little accident last nite.. Suddenly we heard CRAAAASH!! and then we heard someone (one of my roomies) screaming "aaahhh!! It wasn't my fault, I didn't touch it!" When we looked out on our small balcony, we saw the broken balcony door.. hm.. nothing else to do than to fix it ASAP. The only thing we found was tape that u're covering breast nipples with.. but it worked out perfectly! Have a look!

Valuable time
I've been spending the morning/midmorning together with my family. It was so good to see them! and I've missed them much more than I thought I had!! Even though it's a bit sad that we don't see each other as often as we used to (everyday), I'm happy because our time together feels much more valuable now when we don't live together. U really don't wanna argue about stupid things the first thing u do, when u haven't met each other for a while! U just wanna have a great time together with the ones u love most! Don't u agree? ♥

When i logged into MSN earlier I had 38 new friend requests (or what u call it)! I was like holy sh*t who are all those people that wanna chat with me?!! hehe. But as I started checking the e-mail addresses I realized it was as I thought.. viruses! I didn't recognize a single one of the e-mails. So sorry "GoldieSchhindeWolf..." and "ShakiraTrinklein..." and the rest of the 36.. U can't fool me, I'm smarter than u're ;)
So pls be very careful so u don't get virus! If u don't recognize an e-mail address or anything else that is sent to ur laptop, it's better not to accept it or open it. If it's a friend who's trying to reach u, I'm sure he/she will contact u again somehow!
Paella
Since it was St. Patrick's day yesterday, most people were in irish pubs watching the game and drinking.. At least they were not down the beach, where we were having our paella. During my years here, I've never seen the beach so empty before! First a was a bit chocked, but then I thought it was pretty cool to be honset.. cool to see that Barca's all corners arent crowded with people 24/7! lol.

Gosh...... I just came home after a wonderful paella dinner. The food was so good!! And the company were so nice! We were 7 people in total (6 girls and one guy. hihi), so we ordered a huuuge paella with a lot of seafood for all of us! mmmm :) 2 of the girls in our company, just arrived here today.. They're from Japan and friends of a friend. They were really nice and sweet! I hope I can go to Japan one day, would be awesome! Anyways, I'm so full now... think my stomach is gonna explode soon and also very very tired so I'm gonna sleep now! Good nite everyone! pusspuss

Wonder if they're just veeeery lazy or otherwise I seriously don't know what's up with them??! I've just seen too many dogs lately that suddenly just decides to sit down on the ground and refuses to move.. their owners has no choice than to drag them along the road! It looks too funny man!! haha.

Last nite we celebrated my partner in crime, who's bday is tomorrow. We went to have dinner in a restaurant/bar in Borne and then we went clubbing down the beach clubs.. Very nice! I just felt very sorry for one girl that was with us and got robbed! A guy took her whole bag with phones, money, credit card, camera.. u name it! :(
Some people should burn in hell.... But, I guess it's just to accept that this city is full of nice surprices......

Yesterday it was like 10 degrees (maximum!!), a bit of sun but quite windy here in Barca.. I was freezing even though I had a warm jacket and gloves. I was walking down the beach and suddenly saw a girl getting ready to take a swim! I can tell that when I saw here, I wasn't exactly feeling warmer.. but she didn't look bothered of the weather at all! BRRR.... Freezing cold is I all I can say!

Message to the weather God up there:
Pls make up ur mind!! Yesterday u gave us in Barcelona snow chaos.. and today.. u give us a clear blue sky and sun??! Well thank u very much, I do prefer the blue sky and sun.. but pls make up ur mind! I don't know what to wear when u're switching the weather like this. And by the way, I've got a cold now as well :(

Barca has gone crazy
INSANE!! It's been snowing the whole day.. I had to go to the city centre for a while this evening and the metro was crazy. Soo much people! People had to pass through the spare one by one. There were like no one on the big streets in the city centre.. but the few people who were walking there while it still was snowing, were all holding an umbrella. For me who's from Sweden it's quite funny. We only use umbrellas when it's raining, not when it's snowing. But of course, if I wouldn't be used to this kind of weather I might would have used an umbrella as well! :)

I love love love the fashion that's here now! All the white and blue colors.. all stripes.. just the whole "boat"-feeling style.. I LOVE IT!! It's a classy classic and fashion type of clothes at the same time. H&M has a lot of nice, very affordable clothes if u like this style. Check their collection called "The Blues". I would hurry if I would be u. Because thing's are sold out before u've count to 10! ;)

Be proud of yourself!
I got a very nice compliment from a friend last nite: "U're the best looking girl on Facebook!" How sweet isn't that to hear?! It's not like I'm thinking: "Oh hell yeaah, I'm the hottest girl!!" Never! But I don' see anything wrong with thinking that it's a very sweet compliment! I like giving compliments to others, because I know how happy people get when u say that they look pretty, have nice clothes, shoes or whatever it is.. Of course I don't say it just because! But when I do think someone is good looking, why wouldn't I say it to the person?! It's so good to see other people happy, but at the same time I can have hard feeling glad.. Of course I get happy, but sometimes I just have so hard trusting that people actually mean what they're saying. It sounds stupid, I know! I mean why would people, especially my friends tell me something if they wouldn't mean it?! I'm really working on this. To just be able to say "thanks!" and feel happy when somebody gives u an compliment is enough.
We should be greatful of having such nice people around us instead of feeling a bit embarrassed as many of us often can do. (I'm sure more people than I can have hard times with these things..) Come on, let's be proud of ourselves and be thankful when people tells u something nice! From now on I'll try not to be embarrassed and just be very happy.. U should try as well! :)
But, if someone tells u something bad.. just let it go! Don't make a biggy out of it. U'll meet stupid people all the time who'll be jealous and trying to ruin u! Focus on the positive things! It will make u feel much happier!

Walking like an old lady
After a couple of hrs with Anna in the city centre, she had to go home and Maria came to meet me instead. Me and Maria took a long walk along Passeig de Gracia.. I'm walking like an old lady at the moment since I hurt my back last Thursday :S
So every step I take hurts, but we walked slowly so somehow I managed. Afterwards we had dinner together. We had such a nice evening together, which we always have! Me and Maria have always soooo much to talk about! Love her, she's really an amazing friend! A very good listener but at the same time she always has such good and smart things to say! Thank's for being such a good friend!! pusspuss

The spring is here!! Wohoo.. I went to have a coffee with my friend Anna, who's also from Sweden. It was so nice to see her and to sit outside in the sun. My dad called me and said that they also had sun in Sweden today.. the only difference was that they had -10 and we had +15. hehe. After the coffee we went for some shopping. It's still sales time here, wonderful! I bought the nicest shoes. I've been looking at them since day one but I didn't buy them.. and then when I decided that I really wanna have them, I of course couldn't find them in my size. But today was my lucky day because there we're one lonely pair left just for me! Guess if I was happy :D

In Barca it's really no difference if it's a weekday or if it's weekend.. U have always something to do and somewhere to go for dinner, a drink, clubbing.. whatever u prefer doing. This city is the city, which never sleeps! This might sound very weird in some ears, but sometimes I would actually wish that there wouldn't be as much things to do here! I mean I love this city, but give me a break!! haha.

Yesterday was crazy.. it was raining cats and dogs the whole day! But, Barca is filled of sunshine today, yaaaay! It's so nice to see a bluuue sky with no clouds!!

Car drivers in Barca
People in Spain are just too funny! Or shall I say the car drivers here in Barcelona.. I doubt that they would manage to have a car in Sweden. The rules about where u can or can't park ur car are very strict in Sweden. What I've seen so far, I don't think they are very strict here in Barca.. ;)
In Sweden we usually don't park our cars in the middle of a cross walk! hehe.
Tidal Wave
This morning I almost jumped out of bed one hour earlier than my alarm should go off.. I dreamt that I was in a big house on a mountain with some friends when a huuuuuge wave caught us. Everybody panicked, but not I. I just sat down and wondered where my phone went.. a bit awkward to be honest, don't u think?!
I told this to a friend and he found a dream dictionary.. look what it said:

I know many people, including myself that regret what they've done. I've heard myself as well as others saying: "If I only could turn back the time and undo/change what happened last nite.." I wish all of us could just understand that there's no idea of regretting things, because it's impossible to turn back the time! By regretting things it's only U who'll end up feeling bad. Try instead to accept what happened, well it wasn't ur best move, but life goes on! Don't do the same thing again: try to learn from ur mistakes. U can always learn from what u've done but there's no idea of regretting.

I also know many people, including myself who are stressing far too much these days! All the time I hear myself and other people saying: "Don't worry I'll do it tomorrow.." But what if there's no tomorrow? How can u know? That's the thing.. that u won't know. Try to keep ur promise and do what u should today, today! NOT tomorrow. Because if u all the time tell yourself and others that u'll do it tomorrow, u'll end up with loads of stuff waiting for u to be done.. which actually means that u're waiting for tomorrow to come. But again, what if there's no tomorrow?

I wish that more people, including myself started living here and now: today. Enjoy every day for what it is. Focus on the positive things instead of the negative. Be greatful for what u've got: family, friends, health, work, study opportunities.. whatever that makes u happy. If we keep on regretting what we've done or thinking that we'll have tomorrow for solving our problems, we'll never end up living TODAY. By not living today I'm sure u'll end up like one of those grumpy old ladies or men who no one cares about in the end. Sounds like the life we all wanna live when we're older, right? It's up to u, only u can make a change!
I wanna share this with u now, since I believe it's very true:
"Live for today, because yesterdays are over and tomorrows may never come".

But however, u guys who haven't seen it yet, pls have a look. These girl's are 7 yrs old, cute and dancing.. shall I say amazing..?! I mean they are sweet and very very good dancers, but seriously.. Good morning sunshines!! How are u? I'm trying of thinking when I last time was up this early (it's early for me).. at the moment I can't even remember. It's one of my roomies fault that I'm up so early, but it might just be good since I have a lot that needs to be done today.. so instead of being annoyed I'm thanking u for waking me up! hihi. ;)
Oh and by the way.. I always forget that February only have 28 days (ok, not every 4th year..) so when me and Karin realized it's already March, we both were a bit chocked to be honest. Time's just running away!
